Many people want chickens without the hassle of raising chicks. Let us do that for you! We like to raise our chicks to about 2-3 months of age before we sell them. This way we know we are selling a healthy chicken that is almost of laying age. Many breeds start laying between 4 and 6 months. Most chickens will stop laying or have reduced egg production when they are stressed by moving to a new home. By selling chickens at three months they will have enough time to adjust to their new home before they begin laying. This enables you to get maxium egg production from your chickens.
We have Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks and Ameracaunas for sale. 2-3 month old birds are $12 and 3+ month old birds are $15.
