Our beautiful 2 bedroom riverfront home is situated on the banks of the Santa Fe River in a private, but convenient setting. We are 1

miles to downtown High Springs. Sleeping accommodations include a king size bed in the master bedroom, a queen size bed in the guest room, a double sleeper sofa in the living room. The kitchen features granite counter tops, induction cooktop, French door refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and large commercial style sink . The house is completely furnished and accessorized with every convenience you may need during your stay. Ceiling fans are throughout and a full size washer/dryer are included . The master bedroom has a walk-in closet, private bath with shower and tile-topped vanities with hand painted Mexican sinks. There is a garage with opener. The home is situated on a mostly wooded 1 acre lot less than 2 miles to downtown High Springs. A wooded trail leads to the river where there is a walkway and ladder to the floating dock and an area to enjoy the solitude and beauty of the natural surroundings.
Additional amenities include, Wi-Fi internet, TV with DVD and limited programming, gas grill, herb garden, and bocci ball court. We have space for hanging wet dive gear. A boat ramp is just across the road. All Linens are provided.
High Springs is a short drive to Gainesville. In High Springs the local springs and river are a main attraction, offering swimming, diving, fishing, tubing, kayaking, boating activities. Poe, Blue and Ginny Springs are less than 10 minutes. The crystal clear Itchnetunknee River and springs are around 12 miles away. Scuba instruction is available for all levels. The town has numerous antique shops, a few really good restaurants, including The award winning, Great Outdoors Restaurant and an art guild gallery. There is a turn of the century movie theatre showing current releases 3 nights per week and a small community theatre. You can buy local produce at the once per week farmers market. Tubing down the Itchetucknee River is a summertime favorite. In Gainesville, there is the Natural History Museum, Harn Museum of Art, planetarium, Hippodrome State Theatre, Butterfly Rainforest, Botanical Gardens, many unique State Parks, Phillips Center for Performing Arts and numerous other performance theatres in town. There are lots of great restaurants and of course, lots of sporting events associated with the "Fighting Gators. Ichetucknee Springs State Park, Oleno State Park (where the Santa Fe goes underground for 3 miles), the River Rise (where it reemerges), Ginnie and Blue Springs, Rum Island Park and Sandy Point (where the Santa Fe joins the Suwannee) are all close by.
